Christmas was coming up, and you were beyond excited to spend it with your husband.

However, there was something that distinguished this Christmas from the last. The two of you had a son, and he was 4 years old, around the age in which he started to understand the concept of Christmas.

You and Koushi were wrapping gifts for your son in your bedroom as the little boy slept. As Koushi finished up wrapping one of the gifts beautifully, and with love, he picked up a glitter pen.

Your son, Kousuke, hadn’t really known how to read that well, but he knew a few simple words, enough to understand the message Koushi would write, anyway.

“Darling, this is the best part.” He says with love in his voice as he writes out the to and from tag.
