it had been almost a year since you had last seen cha hyunsu and your brother, lee eunhyeok. you always searched for your brother, hoping to find hyunsu too.

but when you unexpectedly found him and your brother at the same time, it all felt like a dream, a dream come true. even though eunhyeok had turned into a neohuman and had no emotions and he could never die, you were still very happy that he returned.

but it all came crashing down when hyunsu had to fight another monster, he eventually killed it, but being too injured and tired, he fell asleep. eunhyeok, a sleeping hyunsu and you were sitting in a hospital room when suddenly another monster appeared.

eunhyeok tired fighting it and you were trying to wake hyunsu up, knowing that the monster would kill him if he saw him in such a vulnerable state. you held his hand, rubbing it to wake up him, but you heard a crashing sound from behind you, the monster had pushed a very injured eunhyeok to the side, walking towards you and hyunsu.

in a panic, you covered hyunsu's body with your own, hugging him and begging him to wake up. but when he did, his eyes weren't the normal brown ones, they were blue --- the monster inside of him had woken up.

hyunsu, now overtaken by his monster, started fighting the monster infront of him, killing him in one go with his wing before he walked towards you.

"i've woken up exactly three times, and how is it that everytime i have, you were there?" he asked in his ice cold voice.

you grip onto a metal pipe that was near you, "bring hyunsu back." you reply.

"he's hurt and he's resting." he replies with a shrug, "besides, im hyunsu too." he said with a smirk.
