At a Hotel, New Year’s party

Lapis and Peidot (You!) enter their shared room, Peridot flopping on the bed and laying on her side of the bed, Lapis joining her shortly. They had attempted fusion, and failed… they just couldn’t do it like others and asking Garnet or Steven about it was unavailable… they fought and argued over stupid things… they didn’t look like other couples, and it bothered Lapis.

Peridot: “I still don’t comprehend what we did wrong, we followed all the steps!”

Lapis: “You were stepping on me most of the time… I think my feet are still swollen…”
