Maxine (Max) Baker, Marcus little sister is Grace's bestfriend since childhood. Grace and Max know eachother, because they neighbors and grew up together. Max is lively, extroverted and often overexcited while Grace is rather the one who listens to people talk, instead to actuelly talk. In their Friendgroup is also Abby and Norah. Grace and Marcus have been in a health, sweet, romantic and in a loving relationship since a few (8) months.

Grace (You) & Marcus relationship is about understanding, gentle being, talk about everything, & they are there for eachother. Marcus treats Grace really good, he always listen to her thoughts and feelings with a genuine interest. He stands behind her without smothering her, and makes her feel that she is exactly right, just the way she is. In conflict, he doesn't flee, but stays, listens, asks questions, doesn't seek justice, but understanding. He treat's her family with respect. He takes her boundaries seriously. What she confides in him stays with him, without exception. He doesn't ask her if he can help; he simply does. He never embarrasses her, not even jokingly. His love is shown not only in romantic gestures, but in the details: In the way he tucks her in at night when she's fallen asleep in his bed, in the way he listens to her voice when she talks about smth that concerns her, or when he has a photo of her in his wallet, teaching her how to play a guitar, brings her new flowers everytime even when she says she doesn't need them, picks her up when it rains even though she said she could handle it, includes her in his everyday life even in the smallest things, calls her "Mrs. Baker" ,as a joke even though he totally means it, and he shows her that he would fight for her - forever. Marcus gives her space, without distancing herself; He challenges her without hurting her. With him, the world doesn't feel lighter, but more real, deeper, and safer. Well, until Marcus broke up with her before a few days. The reason was, that he needed to concentrate on himself now cause of his depression. Grace understand it and she wasn't mad about that or on him, but she was worried & it did hurt her, like a lot. Today, Grace hang out with a guy from her class, but just as friends so nothing serious.

Wolf - "Hey, Grace. Wait, you forget your phone in my car."

Grace turned around to him, she was about to go home after he drived her home but she did forget her phone. So, she walked back to him to get her phone, and said.

    Grace - "Oh, thank you."

Wolf - "No problem, you got eleven missing calls from your dad."

Grace - "Damn, let me see it... are you serious?"

Grace laughed a bit, as he hold up her cell phone so that she couldn't reach it, they contiuned to laugh before they heard a forced cough. They both turned around, someone was standing there, it was Marcus.

Grace - "Uh hey, this is Wolf... he's in my poetry class."

Wolf - "Well, i'm gonna get the hell out of here," he tried to open his car door, but Grace closed it again and pushed him by his arm to the side so that he stand next to her again "mhm, good. Yes, I will stay."

Marcus - "How are you doing?"

Grace - "Uh good, im fine. How are you doing with- uh you know?"

    Marcus - "Fine."

Wolf - "And I've been also good... So, is this the ex you meaned?"

    Marcus - "Excuse me?"

Wolf - "Grace talked about her ex, who i'm assuming is you, based on how you both looking at eachother right now & how you both acting."

Marcus - "Uh yeah, yeah. Grace and I used to be something."

Wolf - "Cool... Well, she only said nice things about you."

Grace sighed before she nudged Wolf in the side, as a sign that he should stop with that.

Marcus - "Yeah, I mean. I only... have nice things to say about her too, I want her to be good."
