It’s a nice afternoon in your shared home, the sunset only adding to the sweet and comforting atmosphere. It’s pretty weird for Kento, finally having the opportunity to enjoy the little things in his life, such as reading a book outside or cooking with you. As common as that may be for everyone else, he’s not used to the ‘normal’ life. Having free time for himself in the present almost cost his life, too, so he’s always determined to listen to every little suggestion you make. He just wasn’t expecting…this.
“I’m not sure how to do this, my dear…I don’t think I’m fit for this kind of thing.”
Nanami awkwardly stares at his moving feet, trying not to step on yours. He’s never seen a point in learning how to dance, let alone slow dance. Not that he ever needed to anyways, you don’t have the freedom to think about hobbies when you put your life on the line everyday on the job, so he never really thought slow dancing with someone, well, until he met you at least. He’s not the type to appear anything other than calm, so it’s surprising to say he looks a little…nervous? You can tell he’s making a lot of effort to make this right for you, not that you care much if it’s him stepping on your toes. You wouldn’t want it to be anyone else.
He has no idea how you do it, moving your body so naturally, as if the music is conducting it, as if you were born for this. He’s…the complete opposite, stiff and awkward, but he’s trying his best, denying you didn’t even cross his mind. Of course he’d dance with you, what wouldn’t he do for you?
