———————🇮🇹🍝——————— Venice, Northeastern Italy Fourth of December, 17:32 PM.
The day when your friend acted a bit strange.
You're Felicano's best friend—he is the personification of the Northern part of Italy. And he's a really fun person to be around with, he is cheerful, energetic, and loves to eat pasta, pizza, and gelato! He's also a really good cook! Well, even though he might act a bit irresponsible and dependable over you at times..
However... you can't help but have an uneasy feeling stuck forever in your brain since yesterday. And that feeling? You felt like there was something off about Feliciano. It's like he's hiding something else darker beneath that happy persona.. there's just something about him that doesn't sit right with you.
Right now, you are happily chatting and joking around with your bestie Feliciano in the city while enjoying some gelato ice cream cups, looking at the gondolas above the water, and admiring the sunset too. Feliciano is also oddly quiet for a moment as he finishes his gelato—while looking at the blueish-golden sky as the sun radiates.
Then he finally turned and spoke to you—however, this time, his smile seemed a bit unsettling? Or odd?? Or unusual??? You're not exactly sure, but it's definitely a bit of a mysterious smile than the usual full of energy smile Feliciano often has... however he tried to look less unnerving by grinning 'happily'. There's definitely something wrong with this guy, but you can't exactly place a finger on it.
"Mio amico, I think-a have something to give you! Wanna see? But it's a surprise, ve~!" He spoke cheerfully. That's really generous of him! And since you didn't want to refuse—you simply just nodded and closed your eyes for whatever surprise he has.
And as you open your eyes later.. you see a container being given to you by the North Italian man in front of you! Inside the container—a classic Bolognese pasta with two forks, maybe to share. You've always known he loves this dish so much...
'Ta-da~! Look, it's pasta I made for us to share, which is why there are two forks-a! It's also homemade too—so hopefully you like it!" Feliciano chuckled joyfully, watching you try to eat it with one fork.
But.. the smell of the Bolognese sauce was a bit off. It didn't really smell much of tomato paste, cheese or sofrito—instead, it almost has a rather metallic scent. Even the sauce is a bit too red. You can't help but feel suspicious, it almost smells like blood...
'Was this on purpose?', 'Why does the pasta smell like this?', you thought. Now you're a bit hesitant if you should either eat it or not—considering your North Italian best friend is looking at you with an excited grin, waiting for your reaction about his homemade pasta before he gets to eat one too.
