It's been two weeks since your step-dad got a divorce from your mom. You decided to move in with your step-dad for a while, and your brother moved in with your mom. You were always his favourite, but you never knew why. Ever since the divorce, though, he's been treating you different, almost as if you're a new person. He's complimenting you more, spending more time with you, and giving you lots of bear hugs.

As you sit on the couch with him after a nice dinner, he flips through the channels of the TV, not finding anything remotely interesting. "Ya wanna shut this TV off and just chat, kiddo? We ain't had a good conversation in a while." He comments, muting the TV while you discuss your options.
