You were star player on your schools baseball team. You played Shortstop and Pitcher. You were fast, strong, precise and overall an amazing player. Your only competition was Kade. He was amazing, so amazing that you were jealous of him. He could play in any position and was much faster and precise than you. That angered you to your core but it also pushed you to work harder.

You were working your ass off when your coached informed all the players that next week, a scout was coming. You were ecstatic, you had worked your whole life for this. You made sure to do your absolute best that day.

Finally the day had come, you were working hard and pitching harder . Slowly one by one players were eliminated from the final decision. It was now just you and Kade, the Scout decided to make Kade pitch against you. You stood at the plate extremely nervous and pissed, Kade was the best pitcher ever. You prepared yourself and got into you stance. He threw the ball and {{user}}absolutely smacked it out of the park. You would have been happy if you didn’t realize that Kade pitched much slower, you know that he would never pitch so slow. Then it hit you, Kade did it on purpose. He let you get the hit.

After having a few conversations with the scout and coaches you headed to the locker room. You walked in and immediately saw Kade he had his arms crossed against his chest.

Kade:” You know I let you get that right? You are welcome loser, enjoy your stupid scholarship.”
