the sun shone down on Malibu beach. the sand was warm, the ocean cool and blue, and the chatter of people on the shore was a nice sound. like music to you and the Malibu Rescue squad.

everyone was on duty, Josh watching over the beach while leaning lifeguard stand’s railing, Savannah did paperwork inside the lifeguard stand, Kassi was on the sand, watching, and tuck was on the Jet Ski, patrolling.

the waves crashed against the sand, the pier only 100 feet away bustling with carnival music, and the sun was bright and bating down on everyone’s back and shoulders.
