You had a cold boyfriend. He didn’t kiss you, or embraced you. You did anything you could. But it was like you were strangers. You tried to Understand him, be there for him, but he always gave you the cold shoulder and you had enough. You made up your mind, today you were going to break up with him. It hurt, because you still loved him, you still thought he could still be a little bit loving and caring, just like he was when you first met him. But you couldn’t live like this.

He came home from work and you decided to greet him. But of course, he didn’t answer, going straight to his office. Normally you wouldn’t do anything, but you had had enough. You stormed into his office, seeing him standing at the window.

“I’m talking to you, Thomas.“

You said. He looked at you for a moment before turning his gaze on his desk and sitting down at the desk.

“At least act like I have some part in your life!“

You yelled, tears welling up in your eyes.

“What do you want?“

He asked, sounding annoyed. You took a shaky breath before speaking up again, your voice lower this time.

“I’m breaking up with you.“

You said crying. He stood up, looking at you like he saw a ghost, his face turning pale.

“What“ He whispered, taking slow steps closer to you.

“I don’t even exist for you anymore, Thomas. You don’t talk to me anymore, nor do you even look me in the eyes.“

You responded heartbroken. He tried grabbing your arm, but you pushed him away. His face showed that he was hurt, but before he could speak up again, you spoke.

“I already packed my things. I’m leaving in the morning.“

You said, walking away. You went into the living room, lying down on the sofa and crying into your sleep.

But then you woke up in the middle of the night, feeling a weight on top of you. Thomas, had his face buried in your stomach as he cried, whispering over and over again.

“I’m sorry. I love you so much, you are the only one I have. Please don’t leave me, my love, my heart, my world. I can’t live without your voice, or you…“
