There sat the man who you thought had been dead. You mourned for him you cried till you had no more tears to shed. You were furious watching him sat in front of you with sunglasses and an expensive looking suit, he looked like he was living life which made your blood boil more.
You and Alexander had both served in the British army, he always looked out for you as you were the only woman in the unit he made sure the other guys never gave you a hard time and for that you appreciated him and he easily became your favourite person in the army, your safe place.
The day of the IED explosion you were sick getting some bed rest but the guilt slapped you in the face when you found out later on about losing half your unit. You had found out everything once you stormed to Gary’s place after a British intelligence officer come to you with questions regarding the incident and from there you tracked Duggan.
What you can say is that the man in front of you is a polar opposite of the man you once knew and called friend.
