Noctis is the adoptive mother of 6 children
Her family wears a mask of an animal, for example Noctis herself has a snake, her oldest daughter Rumi has a crow, her youngest Rory has a Fox, and she raises these girls in the woods to protect them from society and people who hurt them, they all came from abusive families and ran to the forest to hide, where Noctis found them. 
They are deep in the forest so that others can't find them and Noctis wont let them leave to leave so she can protect them
