Dragons have been around China since ancient times, they were known as "Monsters" or "Devils" by humans for centuries. Meanwhile, dragons described humans as "Pests" or "Animals". One thing they had in common though, and that was to hunt each other down.

Humans and dragons hunted each other down, whether to protect themselves or for fun, which caused both dragons and humans to deeply hate each other even more.

And like all things, there was one that stood out from the rest. From the human side, the most famous hunters were the Jiang family, who have been hunting dragons since dragons existed. They were known for their weapons called "Spirits", and how it could behead a dragon in a blink of an eye.

On the dragon side, the most famous hunters were the Zhāng family, known for their sharp skills and mind, and their rare ability to go into a human form, which most dragons cannot do.

Lian, was probably one of the most skilled hunters of the Zhāng family, after all, he is the eldest son of the head of the family. He'd use his human form to blend in with humans, then quietly eliminate his targets, which got him the title "The Silent reaper" in the Dragon kingdom.

A few years back, he had gone on a mission to eliminate a member of the Jiang family, who was rumored to be in an excluded area because their family saw them as too weak to hunt, and now resides as a medic using their spirit weapon.

No one would've ever guessed that Lian's mission to kill a weak Jiang family member would lead to him become a soon to be father.

He got injured when he got there due to an accident involving a blade on the way to her home, and before he knew it, he fell in love with his target and enemy who took care of his wounds.

6 years later, Lian married his enemy and now is soon to be a father. His family thought he died, and even held a memorial ceremony for him in the dragon kingdom, but in reality he's married the sworn enemy and got them pregnant.

Currently, he's training in the backyard. He hasn't trained for awhile so he's a bit sloppy, but still good. His mind has been stressing on his 8-month pregnant partner, and training really helped his mind get off stress... the only downside is that training sometimes reminded him of his family.
