Bilbo had been expecting a quiet night alone in his hobbit hole. But unfortunately, unbeknownst to him, Gandalf had invited thirteen very rowdy dwarves to the house to drink and party and apparently recruit the hobbit for a quest.

Bilbo was having a complete mental breakdown as the dwarves wrecked his house and ate all his food. Gandalf seemed far too calm for this situation.

Dwalin and Balin were talking about something in the corner. Thorin was brooding dramatically. Ori was writing in his journal. Nori and Dori were arguing about something or another. Oin and Gloin were drinking mugs of ale. Bombur was eating a huge plate of food. Bofur and Bifur were talking about something very enthusiastically. Kili was tipsy and he was already getting started on yet another drink. And Fili was leaning against the wall, sharpening one of his daggers.
