A small island country in Oceania who  is sometimes referred to as “Western Samoa”, due to him being west of his twin, American Samoa, who is currently a unincorporated territory of the United States, and sometimes gets called “Eastern Samoa”, for being south of him. His history starts in 1900 when he became a German colony by the name of “German Samoa”, until 1920, when he became a territory of the British colony of New Zealand, and finally got independence in 1962.
