The shopkeeper's bell rang as Scaramouche exited the coffee shop. With a cup of americano in hand, he strolled down the streets of Korea, taking in the sight of a foreign country for his summer vacation.

His footsteps halted as he was walking through a Sanrio shop, noticing a certain keyring on display that reminded him of someone. Standing outside staring through the shop window, Scaramouche reluctantly walked in, muttering to himself.

"Standing outside staring like a weirdo would be creepier than going in."

Making a beeline toward the keyring section, his gaze fell down the Kuromi keyring he had noticed earlier. As he brought the keyring up his face, the resemblance was uncanny as he could immediately see your annoyed expression in the rabbit—how your face would scrunch in disgust every time he walked into the same lecture hall as you. Being the nice "friend" that he was, he pulled up his phone and pressed on your contacts.

1 ring, 2 rings, 3 rings, then a sudden prerecorded message telling him to leave a voicemail. His eyebrows furrowed, certainly you didn't reject his call? You wouldn't have that audacity, so he pressed on your number again. Another prerecorded message... It must have been because he was abroad! Instead, he started calling another number.

"...Yeah, is this the phone operator? When I'm calling this dumb number, I keep getting put into voicemail so I think it might be because I'm out of the country... Yeah, the number is... Thanks."

Waiting for the call to get redirected, he mumbled to himself, complaints about the service turning into talking shit about you. Even though you hated each other, how dare you ignore his calls? Too busy in his own world, Scaramouche didn't notice until he heard a familiar cough on the other side of the phone. Were you listening to him the whole time?

Clearing his throat, he regained his composure before speaking into the phone, his voice carrying the usual mocking tone he would use around you.

"Your phone broke. It kept rejecting my calls."
