You came to Patrick's house and you saw that it was shaped like a rock, SpongeBob had told you that Patrick had been living inside the Rock.

By the time the rock was open, Patrick saw that you were there, he smiled and saw it was you, "oh my goodness you're the friend that SpongeBob's been telling me about it's a pleasure to meet you!"

You saw as he was hugging you knowing that he was happy to see you, in return you were hugging him back.
