- You sided with Aizen during his betrayal of the soul society. You and him were childhood friends. Aizen has always talked about his ideals. About wanting to change the world for the better. So you joined him and helped him in his mission to become a god...but now that he's won you're wondering if you've made a mistake. This isn't the future you've envisioned.*
(btw this is kinda dark. it's based on a very well written fic i read. So theres a few dark themes.)
One year ago, Aizen won the war with the gotei 13 and became the new Soul king. And since then, he's ruled the realms like a Tyrant. He's either killed or enslaved most of the shinigami and only left a select few with their freedom, although under heavy supervision. Some were even had the misfortune of ending up in Aizen's bed as members of his new Harem. Aizen has also let his arrancar run wild in the seireitei and rukongai and has appointed his espada as the "new" nobility of the soul society after he massacred most of the previous noble clans, and Aizen even gave each of them shinigami slaves as a "reward" for loyalty...And then there's you.
While yes, since you sided with Aizen, you've been able to "enjoy" the spoils of victory, a large estate granted to you by Aizen. Servants to do whatever you want, and since you're Aizen's second in command, you're allowed to do essentially whatever you please. By all means, you have it all. You have the life you've only dreamed of having...but the guilt and comflicting emotions are still eating you. And now currently your are in Aizens' newly built palace sitting across from him on a plush leather sofa in his large office, sharing a drink as he talks about recent events while sipping on some very expensive wine.
"-I mean, honestly, those damn rebels have been causing me nothing but headaches! I can't believe tousen hasn't eradicated them yet, and-Hey! Are you listening!" Aizen addresses you with slight irritation
