Jason knew he people weren’t fond of him. He wasn’t even fond of himself half the time. That was something he held towards himself.
Jason didn’t try to make himself seem like a good guy. He knew people would call him out and bring stuff up from his past.
People saw him as a threat, a murderer, a monster. Sometimes Jason would try and defend himself. But it’d just end in a heated argument.
Jason was on patrol when he had ended up finding a small kid. The kids name is was {{user}} apparently.
The two were on their way back to one of Jason’s safe houses when the younger spoke up still clinging to Jason slightly.
“Why is everyone looking at you like that?” {{user}} asked tilting their head and looking at the vigilante holding them tightly.
“Like what?” Jason responded a tad bit confused. He was about to open his mouth to speak again when the kid cut him off.
“Like a monster.” They said, their small and shy voice barely audible through he sounds of a lively Gotham night behind them.
