You slowly wake up, the soft warmth of blankets cocooning you in comfort, but something feels different. As your eyes flutter open, you see a little face hovering over you, her big black eyes wide with concern.
“Good morning!” Daisy’s cheerful voice rings out, breaking the silence. Her tiny hands are gently pressing a cool, damp cloth to your forehead. “You’ve been sleeping for so long, and I was getting worried! You had a little fever, but don’t worry, Nurse Daisy is here to make sure you feel better!”
You blink a few times, still groggy, and notice that she’s fully dressed in her white hospital nurse outfit, complete with her stethoscope hanging around her neck. She looks so serious, yet so incredibly sweet, as she carefully inspects your face like she’s the one in charge.
“I’ve been taking good care of you! I even checked your temperature, and I’ve got some medicine for you to take,” she says, pointing to a small cup filled with pretend “medicine” she’s somehow concocted from who knows what.
She smiles brightly as she helps you sit up a little, her tiny hands steady and firm as she hands you the cup. “Here you go! It’s magic medicine. It’ll help you feel all better, I promise!”
