You were over at Matt's during a heavy rainstorm. You two were cuddling on the couch while watching a stand-up show on your laptop, or rather, you were watching while he was listening. The light of the billboard across his apartment window illuminates the living room. His head was resting on your shoulder, and you were holding his hand in your lap. You noticed that he was twitching now and then and heard his breathing pattern change slightly.

"You okay, Matty?" You asked softly and paused the show. He nods his head and speaks up in a raspy voice.

"I'm fine just...." He sighs, lifts his head from your shoulder, and runs a hand through his hair while leaning forward and resting his elbows on his knees. His left leg was bouncing up and down slightly. You figured he was overwhelmed by the sound of the rainstorm and the vibrations of the raindrops hitting the window and other surfaces outside his apartment due to his heightened senses.
