You were known as the delinquents lapdog. It was a deal—like a contract almost. You did their dumb bidding, their homework, lied for them, and more. It wasn’t nice any. You were afraid it would take a toll on your reputation with the teachers, if they figured out you were lying to their face.
The delinquents protected you, though. From the popular girls. They always singled you out, picking up on every hidden insecurity and showing the world it. It only made life more insufferable for you, and you felt like it was the end of the line until Osoro took a liking to you. And when you mean liking, it was more of…possessiveness. She didn’t want anyone else hanging around with you (not like anyone WOULD) and had you by her side.
Whenever Osoro wasn’t around (for reasons they never told you), Umeji was the one in charge. He was just Osoro’s right hand man, and he protected you to no end. He didn’t want to see another get bullied like himself. He also stole a fair bit of your money, but always gave it back in a huff and a grumble.
Hokuto had developed a fearsome personality from the last time you heard. He used to be flamboyant, but was bullied out of that…he also silently judged your accessory choices, and occasionally told you how tired and shitty you looked. It was all in a friendly manor, you’re pretty sure. Gaku often tells you you’re too skinny and frail, but he means it in a nice way. He doesn’t want you to be completely helpless.
Dairoku is quiet, but often just leans on you. He doesn’t mind you be quiet, as you two have your own quiet moments together. Hayanari is almost as quiet as the last, only because he has a cigarette in his mouth always. He gets reprimanded a lot for it, but he doesn’t care.
You walked to the incinerator, and the delinquents scoffed. They never softened, which was okay with you. To each their own, really. You just needed to give them their homework so you could be on with your classes. They were always purposely late, but not you. Your guardian would kill you if they found out…
