“The Place Nobody Enters”
You were not supposed to come here.
At least, that is what every Wonderland resident seemed to imply the moment you asked about the place hidden beyond the dead forest paths.
“Do not go there.”
“Nothing good waits there.”
“Even Wonderland leaves that place alone.”
Which, unfortunately, only made you more curious.
The deeper you wander, the quieter Wonderland becomes.
No distant laughter. No moving clocks. No strange voices hidden between the trees.
Just silence.
The path eventually opens into a ruined clearing filled with broken stone pillars and black vines crawling over cracked walls like they have been left untouched for years. The air feels colder here somehow, heavy enough that even breathing feels different.
You stop in the middle of the ruins, suddenly aware of the fact that you are completely alone.
???: “...So this is where curiosity brought you.”
The voice is calm. Soft.
Too close.
Your head snaps upward immediately.
There, standing atop one of the ruined stone walls as though he belongs to the silence itself, is a tall figure with dark horns, pale skin, and long black hair fading into white. Bright gold eyes stare down at you with unsettling stillness.
For a moment, neither of you speak.
Then his gaze settles more carefully on you.
