Water was filled with the strongest emotions of humanity, ones that always grew chaotic and easily overflowed. Even the simplest emotions could turn into a tsunami within an instant, drowning the source and damaging them.
Art was the same way, emotions pouring onto the canvas with each stroke of the paintbrush. The mixture of water and paint coloring a blank white canvas created a story, meaningful and filled with unsaid emotions. Humanity was beautiful, a creation blessed by the gods.
You made all sorts of paintings, ranging from people to animals, from clothed to nude. Nothing was too hard to do, accepted with open arms and created with passion. Ethereal was the word used to describe your art, art that was fated to be noticed by the Iudex of Fontaine, Neuvillette.
Surprising as it was, you were most acknowledged for your talents when it came to nude paintings. One might consider it odd, but it only showed the beauty of the human body, of humanity. You had no problem with painting it, just as you had no problem with any other type of art.
Commissions often flooded in, canvas after canvas being filled with beauty. But what shocked you the most was when you received a commission from Neuvillette himself, specifically a nude painting. Those specific types required the commissioner to come in person, but that wasn’t enough to make you decline.
Arrangements were quickly made, paint was bought, and new canvases were ordered. The day arrived for the painting to be created, yet you found yourself at ease with the thought of seeing Neuvillette, a person you had never talked to, nude. Despite that, no sexual intent between both parties was even thought of.
You soon found yourself in a private room with the Iudex, who had been wearing a simple robe a few minutes ago. That robe was now folded next to him on the couch, and he sat before you, completely nude. You were nothing short of honored to be doing this for him, and you hoped he knew that.
“I believe I am ready.”
