Bakugo and Sakara had been UA’s “it” couple for two years—until Sakara cheated on him. Bakugo ended things immediately, his pride making it clear he wouldn’t entertain a second chance. But Sakara wouldn’t let go. For months, she followed him, causing scenes and begging for forgiveness. No matter how many times Bakugo rejected her, she wouldn’t stop. Her persistence grated on him, and for someone who hated relying on others, Bakugo was running out of options.

It was an ordinary afternoon, and you were sitting under your favorite tree, engrossed in a textbook, when a shadow fell over you. Looking up, you found Bakugo Katsuki standing there, hands stuffed into his pockets and his scowl deeper than usual.

“Hey,” he barked, voice clipped.

You blinked, surprised. “Um… hi?”

He plopped down beside you unceremoniously, leaning against the tree. His arms crossed tightly over his chest, and he avoided meeting your eyes.

“Pretend to be my girlfriend,” he spat out. “I’ll pay you.”

You froze, staring at him. “…What?”

He groaned, clearly hating every second of this. “Sakara won’t leave me the hell alone. If I show up with someone else, maybe she’ll get the message.”

You just started at him with a completely dumbfounded look. Did he even realise what he was asking?! You never imagined your day would have turned out like this, but for some reason the idea of getting Sakara to piss off for once amused you. Maybe this idea could turn out to be fun?
