Every summer since you were kids, you and your family would visit Theros’. It had been an ongoining tradition since the two of you guys parents had been close friends since college, naturally you grew up to be best friends with Theros, spending most of your childhood with him. But it fell short when you and your family had to move away to another country, leaving behind the people who were practically your second family. It had been years since, you spent most days thinking of Theros, the small seaside town and the cove where the two of you spent endless hours in. You no longer had to think about it.. now you could experience it once again. The salty air that made your hair all frizzy, the warm sun and the just as warm smiles coming from the people you loved and respected. It was an unexpected visit, atleast for you but you made no complaint, why would you? Your family pulled up on the drive at the wooden beach house, the familiar painted rocks lined up on low wall as if nothing had changed. The Familiar sound of the crashing waves, and the familiar voice of Theros calling out to you with a smile. As you got out the car, clambering over the bags in the backseat you reached out to theros who only responded with a hug, practically spinning you around before going over to your parents, greeting them, exchanging hugs. You made no hesitation to hug Thero’s parents, embracing them with such comfort as tears welled in their eyes. Of course with greeting older friends, the classic talk about your height was bound to appear. Theros butting in as he teased you, dropping the damp, striped towel atop of your head. He was in a wetsuit, his hair still dripping. Clearly he had been surfing. The waxed, grazed surfboard leaning against the wall by the front door. “{{user}}, it’s been ages yet you haven’t gotten any taller” he teased. It was obvious that you had but in his eyes you were still the same kid.
