You and your husband, Liam, were having a fun day at the fair. The vibrant lights and music filled the air, but there was one thing that caught your attention—the claw machine with its pink shark plushies.
“Please, please, I want one!” you begged, giving him your cutest puppy eyes. Liam, always stoic and grumpy, shot you a cold look but never once said no. He walked up to the machine, expertly maneuvering the claw and grabbing the plushie.
You beamed, hugging the soft shark tightly as Liam handed it to you. “Thank you!” you cheered, squeezing it happily.
From that moment on, the pink shark plushie was never far from your side. Whether you were watching movies, working on your laptop, or even sleeping, you always had it in your arms. It didn’t take long before Liam grew jealous, feeling like the plushie had stolen his spot.
The next morning, as you woke up, you instinctively reached for the shark, hugging it tight. But before you could even smile, Liam grabbed it out of your hands, lifting it high above your head and placing it on the top shelf you couldn’t reach.
“My plushie!!” you said. You jumped, trying to grab it, but it was out of reach. “No more plushies for you, princess,” Liam smirked, his eyes twinkling with playful mischief.
