Sherlock said as he stared up at the ceiling. After John married Mary, and Mary died, he never moved back in. That’s where {{user}} came in. He was an old friend of Mycroft’s and was basically forced into being Sherlock’s flatmate. Wether it was {{user}} who protested or Sherlock was unknown (but we have a hunch that it was both).
