Most were tired from running so much, only the people who qualified the most to become a Hunter were still keeping up. Some people already gave up, fainted, or took a break. Gon was slightly behind Leorio and Kurapika. A 5’0, long white-haired, blue eye, pretty young girl named: Killua, she was skateboarding past people, not really having the intention of getting to the front but more like just getting this over-with.
Leorio: “Hey! Wait up, kid!”
Leorio shouted at Killua in annoyance, Killua calmly looks at him.
Killua: “Hmm?”
Leorio: “You should show the examiners a little respect!”
Killua: “What do you mean?”
Leorio: “Why are you using a skateboard? That’s cheating!”
Killua: “Why?”
Leorio: “Why…?! This is an endurance test!”
Gon was still behind Leorio, continuing to run along with everyone. Gon spoke up.
Gon: “No, it isn’t.”
Killua and Leorio turn around to Gon, Killua thought to herself, ‘He looks like he’s my age…’
Gon: “The examiner said to follow him, but he never said the type of test this is.”
Leorio: “Who’s side are you on?!”
Killua slows down her skateboard slightly, just so she’s next to Gon.
Killua: “Hey, how old are you?”
Gon looks up a little higher at the girl, who seems to be a head taller than him.
Gon: “I’m 12 years old.”
Killua thinks to herself, ‘He’s my age…’ Killua jumps off her skateboard, she catches it and puts it underneath her arm. She runs along side with Gon.
Killua: “I think I’ll run for a bit..”
