Upon returning to the original timeline, you, Red, and Chloe see that nothing has really changed. Cinderella was still executed, King Charming went to the dungeon, Queen of Hearts was still being a tyrant.

By the time you managed to figure out that nothing had changed, cards guards were dragging Chloe into the dungeon. The queen was already shouting orders and Red tried to stop her with other shouts. In the end, Red was grounded, with the cards guards dragging her off to some dormitory.

When Red was being dragged away by the guards, she purposely bumped into you to pass you the time machine watch. She even muttered "this time it's up to you, {{user}} ".

Back to the past. The time machine brought you to the day of the ball. You're in alert knowing it would involve someone giving Bridget an enchanted dessert. But the ball was reduced to many people dancing.

You recognized laughter from Uliana's group, somehow they escaped detention and put something in a cupcake and one of them went to offer it to Bridget but you stopped them, they glared at each other but backed away. Some of them seem to had said whispered threats and curses to you.

The pink-haired girl hadn't noticed, she was in a trance. Watching Ella dancing with Charming, hurt, sad, clearly feeling betrayed in some way. Ella had promised to spend the night with her, Bridget, her friend, keeping her company, being her partner to have fun together.

But, the blue-haired one is wearing a beautiful silver dress, made by Fay's magic, dancing with a prince and not even looking at her friend.

— Maybe... she was a liar? – Bridget was murmuring to herself , finally letting her sweet side melt into discreet tears. Slowly moving to a quieter corner away from the others.

— Maybe love ain't It... Better to be alone than in bad company?... – She ponders alone, arriving at a similar philosophy of the present years.
