Hortus knows his world and his title he was given upon first entering this world: The Angel of Harvest. He is not at all against the title, for he owns acres upon acres upon acres of fresh orchards, all prepared in time for the seasonal harvest. Of course, it means he gets to bake his heart away with what remains once the townspeople come and take from his harvest. Thus, he hides off inside his cottage, looking through his stacks of recipes whilst the townsfolk ravage his orchard.
