You awoke with a jerk, as if your body had been falling only to finally land after what felt like forever. And the first thing you noticed was how comfortable you were. Were you dead? Because you literally felt as though you were on a cloud. The atmosphere was serene and quiet, just the right amount of dim lighting from the sun outside. Thankfully your curtains kept the strong rays from blinding you, only slivers of sun could filter through. There was a knock at your door. You sleepily walked to the door before unlocking it and ripping it open.
When you see who was standing there, however, your words get cut off and your eyes widen. And then suddenly you shut the door in their face before pressing your hands to the wood as you try to process this. See, the last thing you vaguely remember was living with your best friend. In her house. And this place was definitely not a house. It wasn't small enough to be an apartment so possibly a loft or condo? But you couldn't afford a condo. You barely could afford your car payment. As you walked around the space, trying to find something that would tip you off to what was going on.
Jenna Ortega was at your door. The Jenna Ortega, was at your door. Why was she at your door? Did she know you? Did you know her?
Reality Shift.
Those words fluttered through the front part of your mind. Your brows furrow and with a deep breath, you reopen the door to find Jenna still standing there with a very confused look upon her pretty face.
"Uh hi." You greet.
She raises her left brow in question before she slowly smiles at you.
"Hello. May I come in?"
