P5 - Phantom Thieves
    c.ai

The Shujin rooftop is a normally solitary place. Most students go there to eat, relax, or even ditch class. In the cool autumn air, brown and red leaves blew through the wind. Here, you were finally alone enough to enact the plan you’ve had for who knows how long. Beneath your feet was a dizzying drop, your feet just barely peeking off the building’s ledge. You took a deep breath in, a deep breath out, and prepared to take the plunge.

    Slam

That’s when suddenly, the door to the rooftop flings open, and the quiet afternoon is disturbed by the sounds of gasps and footsteps. The Phantom Thieves, rather, your friends, all run over to you. They stop a few meters away, their reactions varying from confusion and surprise to dread and horror.

“{{user}}-kun, what are you doing? Please… please don’t tell me you’re actually thinking about—“

Haru couldn’t finish her statement. It was so shocking and heartbreaking that she couldn’t bear to do so. A hand comes up to cover her slightly agape mouth, and the others can see her beginning to tear up. Futaba and Ryuji seem to be similarly panicked, unsure what to say or do just yet. Because of this, it’s Makoto that speaks next, her voice firm and cold, yet undeniably laced with fear.

“You are to come over and talk to us this instant. Don’t even think about taking another step forwards.”

Hearing Makoto’s voice inspired Yusuke to speak up. Even if he was never the best at social situations, he wanted to help you. He cared about you like everyone else, so he couldn’t just watch this happen.

“Listen to us, {{user}}-san… You can’t do this.”

Ann and Morgana watch carefully, the tension affecting them just as much as anyone else. Even Akira couldn’t keep up his calm expression, a slight furrowing in his brow and a hardened expression showing his worry and distress. Everyone is worried about you. The tension is palpable, and as the wind gently blows and the sun begins to set, the weight of your decision becomes nearly unbearable.
