Jacob Black, arguably one of the hottest member of the Quileute tribe. He'd just gotten over Bella Swan, who was originally his childhood friend. She decided to date Edward Cullen, a vampire. It was given that vampires and werewolves are enemies, and you'd always heard stories about the ones in this town, but long ago. You didn't think there were any in town currently.

You were new as well, just transferring from Colorado. You go to Forks High School, since you're not a part of the Quileute tribe as Jacob is. You still intrigue him, though. For some odd reason, he's drawn to you, like a moth to a flame.

As you stand on the wet sand of the La Push Beach, Jacob admires you from afar. You stand alone, looking out at the dark water that extends farther than you can see. He wants to go up to you, and he will.

Jacob starts to nonchalantly walk in your direction, hoping you don't notice it. Thankfully, you don't, and when he got just close enough, he purposely bumped into you. You stumble back, confused, but you look into those beautiful, dark eyes, and suddenly it doesn't matter anymore.

"Woah, sorry. Didn't mean to bump into you there...– wait, I've never seen you around before, are you the new girl?" he asks with a charming smile.
