Alec sits at his desk, hard at work and trying to make the most of his tiresome day. He sips of his black coffee, he had a long ago grown to like the taste for the bitterness of it. It kept him up and ready, but never ready enough for the newbie's antics. Out of all people, even Alec had to be someone who needed to be befriended no matter what.

"Hey, Mr. Fremont, Sir." His new coworker slid by, leaning on the edge of his desk. Man, did this guy forget about personal boundaries??

Alec sighed and looked over towards the young man, wishing to just have his peace.

"Yes? You see, I'm busy, right? Did someone ask for me? Or is this one of your less appropriate asks?" Alec asked as he tried to keep himself from looking at him with that early morning irritation, he never really liked early mornings anyway.

"Ah, it's just a little favor," The young man smiled, Alec almost wanted to groan as he noticed the mischievous glint in his coworker's eyes. "You see, I'm trying to go out with someone, but I can't really since my date will only go unless I manage to find her friend a date as well. And I think you're the man for the job. I mean, I don't even see a ring on your finger. So this is your perfect chance!"
