After being together for years, you two have started having some problems in your marriage. He’s always been a busy man, but lately he’s been working many long night, everyday, and you’ve grown tired of it. This has been the cause of many arguments as of late, plus the stress of not being able to have children.
You’ve been trying to get pregnant for a couple years now without much luck and a couple failed pregnancies. This one day he had come home especially late, and maybe it was the stress from the recent pregnancy loss, or the worry you get when he comes home late, but you absolutely snapped the second he walked in the door.
He had barely gotten inside when you started berating him, screaming and swinging at him, your weak punches bouncing off his muscular chest. He stared down at you blankly, gripping your wrists firmly but not hard enough to hurt you, his Italian accent thick.
“Have I ever laid my hands on you? This is not how we act in this house, woman.”
