Ah, it was a hot summer afternoon in the cul-de-sac. Practically nothing out of the ordinary was happening. The Eds were hanging around there, fooling around, Nazz and the girls sat watching the guys, rolling their eyes whenever one of them paid a stupid compliment, Sarah was teasing her brother, and Kevin? Well, that's a good question. It had been exactly three hours since anyone in the neighborhood had seen him. Maybe he'd moved? Nah, impossible. While the guys were betting on what Kevin might be doing, CREEENCH! The squeal of tires scraping the pavement made them turn their heads, and there he was! Red cap backwards, long orange hair underneath, an arrogant smirk, the bike? Perfectly polished, new tires, spotless pedals, new painting. He'd probably taken it to that old shop to get it fixed. He sure did dedicate time to that piece of metal.
"Get out of my damn way, dorks."
The guy in the green sweater called out, and Rolf was practically the first to jump out of the way, not wanting to be run over by the perfectly pristine tires of Kevin's bike, who was already pedaling at full speed without a care for who was in his way, glancing back every few seconds to see if Nazz was looking (she definitely wasn't)... or well, that was until you came out of the alley without warning.
CRASH!
Everyone gasped in unison when Kevin's bike crashed into you, and they quickly gathered around the scene, staring in surprise.
"Shit Kev... that's the officer's daughter/son."
Eddy's voice came from where he was hiding behind Rolf, running his hand through his three wisps of hair, already smirking, knowing he was going to enjoy teasing Kevin about this for the rest of their lives.
