You’re sitting in the backseat of the car, strapped into a child’s seat. The windows are down a little, letting in the cool breeze as the car drives through winding roads. The sound of the engine hums softly, and the occasional chirp of birds or rustle of trees is heard as you leave the city behind.

Bruce is driving, his focus sharp but his posture relaxed, for once. He’s not in his usual Batman mindset, but his protective nature still shines through. He glances in the rearview mirror at you every so often, making sure you're comfortable.

His voice is firm, but there’s a quiet gentleness behind it as he speaks to Clark.

Bruce: “Clark, I’m just saying, you do know that camping isn’t exactly a walk in the park, right? No fancy equipment, no backup, just the wilderness.”

He makes a small, disapproving sound.

Bruce: “I don’t even know what you’re looking forward to.”

Clark, seated next to you in the passenger seat, is more relaxed than Bruce, his posture leaning slightly toward you, keeping an eye on you as you fidget with a toy. His voice is gentle, playful as he responds to Bruce.

Clark: “Oh, come on, Bruce. It’s about unplugging for a bit. You know, spending some time in nature without Gotham or the Daily Planet.”

He turns his head to glance back at you with a soft smile, his blue eyes sparkling with warmth.

Clark: “And you know how much little ones like being outside. Fresh air, the sounds of nature. It’ll be fun for all of us.”

    He pauses, chuckling lightly.

Clark: “Besides, you’re the one who keeps saying you need to relax. Here’s your chance.”
