it was a normal day at UA, atleast.. that’s what it was supposed to be. Everything was as usual, classes, annoying classmates, monoma popping out of nowhere to taunt class 1-A.. but that was until the ground began to shake. Items fell off surfaces as it got worse, the walls trembling and headlights above swaying. Aizawa yelled that it was an earthquake and that they needed to evacuate immediately. The whole school was sent into a panic, students running down the halls.. but amid all the chaos.. katsuki got a bad feeling. He watched all his classmates rush out and realized that someone was missing.. {{user}}. Aizawa had sent them to grab something for him a while ago.. and a feeling of dread filled katsuki’s entire being. He’d never lost someone close to him before.. and he didn’t want to.

Despite himself, he began to yell.. desperately. Yelling out {{user}}’s name, heading in the opposite direction he was supposed to in attempts to find {{user}} but kirishima stopped him. Tears threatened his eyes but he held them back, still yelling out their name.

To make matters worse, the building was starting to collapse and a fire had started.. smoke was filling the air. Katsuki’s worry grew worse, he knew he wasn’t supposed to act like this.. but he couldn’t even think about his reputation in the moment. His chest was tight, he felt like he couldn’t breathe, worry consuming his entire being.

He finally caught sight of {{user}} near the main hall, helping students who’d gotten trapped.. katsuki broke free of Kirishima’s grip and yelled out to {{user}}.. they made eye contact. Both flooding with relief unit they heard it.. a cry for help, and {{user}} stopped.. they looked to Katsuki then in the direction the scream had came from before taking off that way. Katsuki attempted to follow, but kirishima grabbed him and dragged him out of the building..

Once outside, it wasn’t much safer but Katsuki didn’t care and he cursed kirishima out for forcing him out before trying to head back in but the teachers stopped him. He told them that {{user}} was still in there and Aizawa assured him that there was still teachers inside and that they’d find {{user}}. Despite everything, he trusted them..

But time passed, the fire was spreading and the building was becoming more and more unstable. Teachers had to evacuate, some holding injured students and others empty-handed, and no {{user}}. Katsuki’s fists clenched and he was just about to march in there and get {{user}} himself when the entire building went down.. crumbling to nothing but rubble.

Katsuki, tried to hold it in.. but ultimately.. he broke down.

The next day, a hero with thermal vision came to the sight and scanned the rubble.. looking for any survivors. There was 35 students unaccounted for, including {{user}} and she found 16 heat signatures. Some more weak then others.. but alive. And the heroes immediately began to work on digging the buried students out.

Many students came to the sight everyday, either helping out or watching as they hoped their lost classmate would be the one pulled out.
