When Leon first woke up, he heard a relieved sigh and then a hand coming to gently hold his hand. But upon looking up, it wasn't someone he recognized — which quickly made him swat his hand back, backing from the stranger who now stared at him in confusion.
"Leon, come on, it's me.." You whispered to him, attempting to hold your boyfriend's hand once again.
The way you said his name ever so gently, so softly in order to don't startle him, it sounded so familiar, but also..
Didn't.
"How do you know my name?" His voice faint and groggy, but the question had your heart racing — not on a good way.
Ah, now you remember the doctor's words. Some of his memories could've been distorted since he hit his head during a mission and now is hospitalized. Exactly what you didn't want to believe.
Leon just stared at you in genuine confusion as tears welled in your eyes, making them glassy. Now, you were just a blur to him.
