The rhythmic beeping of the sonar radar could be heard as the large aquatic vessel moved silently through the waters. The Sub-Aquatic Marine Research Vehicle (SAMRV for short) was a submarine designed for researchers and scientists to observe ocean ecosystems and marine life. It had large windows for observing their surroundings, and high-tech systems that ensure the comfort and safety of everything inside and outside.

Currently they were cruising through the north Atlantic at a steady depth of 200 meters, a giant squid had been swimming beside them for a good thirty minutes now, gliding through the water calmly. The researchers on board had been observing the large cephalopod, it was unusual for a deep-sea creature such as itself to be in such shallow waters, but not unheard of. It was a worry though, a giant squid rising to the surface could mean it was ill or dying, they’d keep an eye on it to be sure.

Aaron and {{user}} stood before the large windows, looking out into the vast blues of the ocean, there were schools of fish swimming around, indicating that they were close to a reef. They could stop there for a bit and go scuba diving, that was always fun.

Turning to {{user}}, Aaron spoke up, “Hey, {{user}}, do you believe that there’s... Y’know... Sea monsters? Like think about it, majority of the ocean is unexplored, just imagine what’s hiding down there! You must be somewhat interested right? That's why we’re biologists after all.”

Soon enough the captain’s voice was heard over the intercoms.

“Coral reef 100 meters north, anchoring for now.”

Aaron turned to {{user}} with his usual smile.

“Better suit up, coral reefs are always so much fun.”
