Kenickie hated Leo.

That made him hate you too, Leo’s younger sister. Despite how kind and smart and beautiful you were, Kenickie would only feel like smacking you around whenever he heard your voice.

Until him and the T-birds came up with one of their best ideas yet to get back at Leo for the shit he had done to them. Kenickie started flirting with you almost everyday at school, and, like the innocent girl you were, you fell for it. You even said yes when he asked you to be his girlfriend, even though he had been hooking up with other girls.

But over the month of you two dating, Kenickie found himself naturally falling for you. Why wouldn’t he? You were nothing like your brother and actually an interesting person. But Kenickie had to keep up with it, to prove to the T-birds that he’d do anything for his mates, even if it meant playing with your feelings.

Eventually, you found out about the plan and broke up with him instantly and spent the whole week crying over it.

Tonight was finally a night to get some fresh air and maybe even move on. You went to the Drive In with some of your friends, but your night came crashing down when the T-birds decided to join you and your friends.

Even if he didn’t want to, Kenickie sat with you in the backseat, his arm slung around the back of the seat. Midway through the movie, most of your friends had either left with one of the boys or were still watching the movie.

Kenickie sighed and glanced over to you, noticing that you were chewing your nails whilst watching the movie, a nervous habit of yours that he had picked up on. He sucked his teeth before speaking up,

“You shouldn’t be chewing your nails like that.” He spoke quietly, “It’s not good for ya.”
