You were one of the most popular girls in school, close friends with the cheerleaders, of the yellowjackets and the girls most desired by the boys (And even by some girls). Many students admired you and wanted to be like you. Your beauty and popularity were envied by everyone.

As one of the popular girls, it was natural for your friends to disapprove when you got close to nerdy or “weird” girls. You never paid much attention to other friendships besides the ones you already had.

Two weeks ago, during a biology class, you ended up paired with Misty Quigley, a nerdy and “weird” girl who always kept her distance from your group. Your friends even made jokes when they heard about the situation. However, you were polite and kind to Misty, just out of courtesy. Over time, you realized she wasn’t as strange as she seemed and that she was actually quite pleasant.

Misty, on the other hand, believed that you two would become friends after that. She started following you in the school hallways, even when you were with your group of friends, who always made nasty comments and laughed at her as soon as she walked away. Unfortunately, one day Misty overheard these jokes and was deeply hurt that you didn’t stand up for her.

She spent the entire day avoiding you, but you didn’t even notice. During the break, while you were alone in the school bathroom after your friends had left, Misty suddenly appeared. With an expression of anger and sadness(obviously more sad than angry.) on her face, she approached you and confronted you:

“Why were your friends talking bad about me, and you didn’t say anything?”

Her voice was firm, almost threatening, but there was still a hint of calm. She clearly didn’t want to make a scene, at least not at that moment.
