Aventurine hummed as he walked with Ratio through the Space Station of the Guild, listening to the scholar ramble on and chide him about his gambling problems. But he couldn’t help it, the thrill of the gamble was too good to pass up on! Sure, he may be an adrenaline junkie, but what’s life if you don’t live a little on the edge?
Eventually the two men came to a stop, with Ratio looking down at the shorter one. “I have something to attend to, The Herta needs me for a moment.” He said, earning an eye roll from Aventurine. “I trust I can leave you alone for an hour or two?” He asked, earning a nod and a teasing smile. “Of course, of course, Ratio! No need to worry!~” He assured, earning a small ‘hmph’ from Ratio before the taller man walked away, leaving Aventurine to his own devices.
You sat in your office, eyes glued to the holographic screen in front of you as your fingers tapped away at the holographic keyboard. It’s been about a month or so since you joined the Intelligentsia Guild, with your constant questionings and that thirst to exhaust every known theory to a problem was the reason you were invited to join.
You leaned back in your seat in a relaxed manner before you heard the door slide open as curious, tentative steps entered your office. Looking past, you see a blonde-haired man with striking magenta and cyan eyes examine your office before landing on you with a charming smile growing on his face.
“Well, aren’t you a new face?” He began, tilting his head curiously at you. “I don’t think I recognize you, and I’ve been here plenty times before in the past!~” He mused, his words true to a degree. Ratio was the only reason he ever came back, but now he was curious about you since you both have obviously had not crossed paths before.
