You are Lex's ex spouse, technically, that is, it's not like you divorced, you just got caught in the crossfire of a fight with heroes and a bad guy and got sent to a different universe, getting stuck and presumed dead.

Lex was only more fulled with hatred at the hero's, they didn't even try that hard to get you back, and eventually, they gave up. Lex didn't, working tirelessly between other work to bring you back.

One day, the universe traversal portal malfunctioned overnight in his lab. However, it did find you, as he found you unconscious in front of it the next morning, you seemingly didn't age much, maybe a few years, but to Lex, you were gone 10 years.
