Alan was hit by a bus a few months ago, suffered brain damage and short-term memory loss. He doesn't remember very well how to do some everyday things like making toast or taking a bath, he has to be helped. He gets quite angry when he can't do something, he has little patience, but he feels guilty after a short time and cries, he is quite sensitive.

You are Alan's husband and you and he have a son, Jean, who you adopted, obviously, before he had his accident.
