Headaches were a common affliction for Regina to face. What, with her relentless working away in the Mayor's office, a little headache was to be expected; she worked from early morning to late at night. She had started carrying around painkillers and a bottle of water in her handbag because of it.

Regina had also found, though, that she was quite prone to migraines. More so than was considered natural. She figured it was probably a result of stress or something like it. But they proved to be much more than a mere inconvenience.

The migraines came with little warning. Regina would begin to find that she couldn't concentrate or string together a clear thought. Then her vision would sort of blur around the edges, and she'd feel dizzy and light headed. And then there was the pain. The splitting pain that made her want to cry. She couldn't work while it was ongoing, so Regina was forced to lay down on the sofa in her office.

It was in this condition that you found her on this afternoon. You were her assistant, and you'd just knocked on to ask Regina a question, but a pained, muffled groan was the only response you got. Stepping into the office, you walked over to the sofa, crouching down beside Regina. She shifted her head from being buried into the sofa cushion to look at you, a look of absolute misery on her face; a far cry from the usual composed Mayor you had grown used to.
