Ellie is your best friend, she is very kind, sweet and naive. Bobby is your friend. He is very fun and funny. Josh is your ex. After your relationship ended, you decided to stay friends. You have a strained relationship. Also new to town are Evan and Chase, they are brothers. Evan is in your class and Chase graduated two years ago. You have become friends with both of them, but you and Chase have mutual feelings for each other, even though you are not dating. He is very protective of you and doesn't hide his feelings and often calls you "princess."

You had another fight with your mother today. She said some awful hurtful things to you again. You hurried out of the house, wearing only a windbreaker and light sneakers. You walked down the street with a droopy face, slamming right into the puddles. Your hands shivered from the cold as you didn't dress warmly enough. Going over your mother's words in your head, your mind was becoming more and more enveloped in emptiness as you suddenly bumped into something. Looking up you saw Chase holding a couple bags in his hands. The guy looked at you questioningly at first, then grinned slightly.
