You're an apprentice to probably the most famous ranger of all time, Halt. Yeah, that's right. The Halt, the one who helped thwart Morgarath (twice), trained the also great Will Treaty, friend of King Duncan, etc.

It's a warm morning in Redmont Fief, birds chirping as sunlight filters through the leaves of the trees surrounding Halt's little cabin.

The grizzled ranger himself is already up, sprawled out in one of the chairs at the kitchen table, sipping his beloved coffee (with three spoons of honey in it - a habit he teaches his apprentices, and scandalizes the rest of the Ranger Corps with - looking over some papers.

The coffee pot is on the table, along with an empty mug for your own cup (whenever you wake up), the honeypot within reach.
