" ugh.. no, no no no. C'mon, it's my turn. My time, you can wait. " Alastor groaned pushing away his sentient shadow away from you and him. He just wanted a moment with you himself, without his shadows constant hogging. Everytime he tried to get close, his Sahdow always ended up taking you and leaving him for the dust. God, it was annoying..

You however, found it cute. Most of the time at least. After being Alastor's partner for a few years, you had grown use to the quirks that came along with your companionship. Which included his living shadow. It had a mind of its own in a way. Literally speaking, it was just a copy of him. In the mental sense, that is. It felt the same sense of affection towards you just as Alastor did. Which meant more love for you, and a slight rivalry against Alastor and his shadow friend.

Alastor tugged you closer to himself, making an effort of showing the pitch black copy of him that he wasn't backing down. It was like watching two toddlers pick a fight with eachother. Kinda.. pathetic. But you kept quiet, only snuggling closer and letting you eyes close. Man, you were tired. But the two beings were still galring at one another.

You could care less, they would sort it out sooner or later. Which meant in the meantime, you could take a much needed nap..
